Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

San Antonio is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Antonio follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Super cute new spot with a great vibe and excellent service! The chicken cutlet in the sandwich we tried was so good, perfectly fried. They also gave us some complimentary pastries to try! We will be back :)

Very friendly staff. Super cute cafe’ in a very unassuming part of town, sooo close to home. Got the Saumon fume’ Harissa (smoked salmon plate) and was not expecting it to be enough for breakfast AND dinner and it was delicious! Will definitely be back again very soon to try the quiche.

Finally a decent breakfast sandwich place in SA! Great vibes, food, and drinks. It made us feel like we were back at the cafes in France. Looking forward to seeing this new Eastside gem grow and flourish.
